The Smith Administration

During his time as President Garrett Smith and his team:

  • Held the first athletic voter registration drive,
  • Created a post advising surveys,
  • Started a new event called Dugout in the District,
  • Successfully campaigned to raise the student activity fee from $5-$25 with some of the funds going to renovate the Sanderson Center,
  • Worked with Parking Services to get Bird Scooters back on campus,
  • Passed legislation to get free feminine hygeine products in some bathrooms on campus,
  • Rewrote the Student Association Constitution and Bylaws,
  • Had the first class of Freshman Reach,
  • Had students donate over 1,000 block meals through the Block by Block campaign,
  • And reached 10,000 followers on the SA instagram.
