The Packer Administration (2020-2021)
Almost two weeks after Tyler Packer was elected president, the COVID-19 pandemic made its way to the U.S. and Mississippi State was forced to shut down. Despite being president during this difficult year, his team still accomplised many things such as:
- Passing a resolution through the Senate supporting changing the Mississippi state flag,
- Keeping some study spaces open for students to use,
- Having the first ever drive in movies on campus,
- Passing a resolution through the Senate to implement more safety measures on the lower level of Polk-Dement Stadium at Dudy Noble.
- Creating a Freshman day of service,
- And revamping Freshman groups by combining Freshman Council, Edge, and Forum into one group called Freshman Reach.
